0.1.1, released 12 Oct 2026
Opens PDFs that only restrict printing or copying, and drag to any place in a long page list.
Fixed
PDFs that open without a password but restrict printing or copying (common for government and company documents) now load and merge normally, and the merged file has no password. Files that need a password to open are still refused with a clear message.
Dragging a page near the top or bottom edge of the window now scrolls the page list, so you can move a page to any place in a long document.
Changed
The app, store listing and README now say that bookmarks and form fields are not kept in the merged file.
0.1.0, released 11 Oct 2026
Added
Merge multiple PDFs into one, in any order you choose.
Split a PDF by page range (e.g. 1-3,7,9-) or every N pages, with a separate download for each part.
Page thumbnails so you can see what you are moving, rotating, or deleting.
Reorder, rotate, and delete individual pages before merging or splitting.
Undo and redo for all page edits.
Password-protected PDFs are rejected with a clear message instead of producing a broken file.
A calm, readable layout: large page previews, the merge and split tools side by side, and a Done line after every download.
Drop PDF files anywhere on the page, or choose them with a button.
Move a page with the keyboard: focus it and press Alt with an arrow key.
A wrong page range is marked right under its field, so the rest of your work stays untouched.
New app icon.
Corrupted files show a per-file error; your other files still merge normally.
Works with large files (100+ MB, 500+ pages) without crashing the tab.
Everything runs on your device: no upload, no account, no network request of any kind.
Open source license notices for every bundled library ship inside the extension.
